Stop TB Partnership KOREA. Leading the fight against TB. A partnership hosted by UNOPS

2017 Lung Tree Care Campaign

The Stop TB Partnership KOREA under the Korean National Tuberculosis Association, in cooperation with various partners, will hold the "Lung Tree Care Campaign" this year to promote TB prevention among the general public and to support the vulnerable populations.

The "Lung Tree Care Campaign" has been running since 2015 with the goal of raising awareness of TB among general citizens and for promoting treatment support and encouragement for disadvantaged TB patients.

In 2017, the "Lung Tree Care Campaign" will include the following programs: "Essay contest from TB survivers," the TB specialists' online live classes ("Ask Anything about TB Season 2!"), and the TB-vulnerable strata promotion campaign.

Through the story of people who has overcome TB and found hope, the association hopes to empower many who are fighting hard against TB. By September 30th, we will accept TB essays via TB Story (Naver Café), mail or e-mail from those residing in Korea without any restriction. We encourage everyone to participate.

Also, following the precedent of 2016, TB experts will lead "Ask Anything about TB, Season 2!" It will consist of three sessions, with lectures from the best experts in Korea addressing various related topics. You can get real-time answers by asking questions while listening to lectures or explanation for what you have always wanted to know. "Ask Anything about TB, Season 2!" is available through the online cafe TB Story, the Korean National Tuberculosis Association Facebook page, and YouTube. Please kindly attend one of these sessions. Your participation and encouragement makes "Lung Tree Care Campaign" strong and running.
